AORA for sponsor organisations that do work visas in-house

AORA Automation for Faster Casework

An immigration case requires gathering data from the client and applicant, assessing eligibility, and completing the online application forms. Before an advert has been posted or a candidate identified, AORA can assess the eligibility of a proposed job and can compute the minimum salary required.

AORA collects data and document scans from staff and job applicants using intelligent, smartphone-friendly questionnaires.

The video demonstrates the manual process of a UK Skilled Worker visa application alongside the same case prepared using AORA, showing each step, including filling out the Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) form and the Visa Application Form (VAF).

In the example, the total time taken by a caseworker using AORA is about 20% of the time needed when the caseworker processes the case manually (30 minutes versus 2.5 hours). Therefore, AORA enables each caseworker to complete over 10 cases per day compared to about 2.5 cases per day if handled manually.

We can provide these times in greater detail upon request.

The processing of Skilled Worker visa applications on AORA is now well established across multiple customers. There is also support for Global Business Mobility visas (GBM—Senior & Specialist Worker).

Helpful Dashboards

For practitioners, the dashboard shows at the highest level, activity for each sponsor. For a sponsor, the user can drill down into the cases being processed and keep track of the activities and any target dates.

At a case level, the user can see the progress of the case workflow and can post descriptive notes. This is helpful for the HR staff who can then see at a glance the progress of their matter.

Handling rising costs and competition

All UK employers are experiencing rising costs. The biggest cost of UK employment visas is casework: assessing a job or applicant, assigning a new CoS, or applying for entry clearance or further leave to remain. Caseworking done manually is very resource-consuming. In contrast, many large employers are trying to reduce immigration costs.

Automation means the casework can be done with far less human effort. AORA technology provides full automation. It is up to date with law and policy, scales with demand, provides rigorous compliance and minimises the time between an instruction from a client and delivery of service.

Interoperability with in-house systems

We have API functions that allow an HR, talent management or onboarding system to provide AORA with details of the employee or candidate. Having received the data from the system, AORA then performs the automated eligibility assessment, report generation and form completion steps, automatically notifying the source system as each step is done (so live progress/status is visible). In this way, the AORA platform functions alongside the in-house HR or talent management system with seamless, immediate data flow.
