Some Home Office applications require the applicant to verify their identity using the "UK Immigration: ID Check" app.
The ID check must be completed manually; the automation of the Home Office forms can only work if this step is completed.
This guide will take you through the required steps to complete the ID Check and to automate these types of applications with AORA.
The first step is creating a UK Visas & Immigration account.
When doing this step you must set up a helper. AORA needs this helper access in order to run the automation.
Create account with the Home office
Next, you need to start a new application.
Make sure you start the application using the ID document which you used for your UK Visas & Immigration account.
Start Skilled Worker application
The next step is to complete the first step in the application entitled "Confirm your identity".
This must be done using the ID check in the "UK Immigration: ID Check" app.
A completed ID check can be confirmed when the section is marked as complete in the application dashboard.
Now the applicant's identity has been confirmed, the automation can proceed. Find your completed enquiry in AORA and click "Create Automation".
Read and complete this next step carefully as the details must match up with those which were used to start the application.
In order to access the account for the automations, either the applicant or advisor must input a one-time authentication code. Carefully read through this step and select the desired destination for the code to be received.
Finally, choose the preferred email address for correspondence with the Home Office and then proceed with the automation.
